1) Driver control – pin code or swipe card forklift vehicle access
Control who uses each individual unit in your fleet by limiting access to those with correct identification. From an OH&S perspective, this means you have the ability to ensure that only drivers who have been properly trained on a specific piece of equipment can operate specific forklifts.
2) Forklift start-up checklist display and response
Electronic pre-operational checklists are displayed on the equipment’s monitor screen and a summary is automatically e-mailed to your nominated manager and to Linde Australia. If the checks are not completed in full, the vehicle will not allow the driver to continue, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency at all times.
3) Usable impact information
The FleetFOCUS system provides statistical vehicle impact information to the staff you nominated, helping ensure the reduction of onsite infrastructure and vehicle damage.
An impact sensor is incorporated into the hardware and the data collected distinguishes between “standard impacts” such as entering or exiting pallets, crossing dock levellers, and expansion joints and other more serious impacts such as with racking or other equipment. You can grade impact severity and set the system to e-mail or even SMS management and supervisors if required for any impacts higher than a pre-set severity.

FleetFOCUS records comprehensive activity reports for each individual unit and transmits them to your chosen administrator and to Linde. FleetFOCUS provides Linde with periodic equipment utilisation information so that informed fleet deployment decisions and recommendations can be made. 5) Wireless two- way vehicle communications
The wireless capabilities of this unique system allow greater access convenience for you and for your Linde fleet management consultant. Information can be accessed by logging on to the Linde Australia website and entering a unique Username and Password. Linde field service technicians can also log in on site through Bluetooth wireless connections, and acquire the most up-to-date service records in real time.
All this, and no need for bulky onsite computers, as the system is controlled remotely. In fact, there is no Wi-Fi infrastructure at the client premises at all, in consideration of the fact that there may be existing Wi-Fi infrastructure in place running far more important WMS software or bar code scanners.
