Welcome to the final Linde Vision Edition for 2011. As we near the end of another busy year, it’s appropriate that I commence my message by thanking all our clients who made 2011 another successful year for Linde Australia. Your continued support of the Linde brand is greatly appreciated.
In 2011 Linde continued its tradition of producing and releasing leading technology to the market. At this year’s CeMAT Fair in Germany, Linde unveiled the new 2.5 to 5.0 tonne Electric Counterbalance range. This product will no doubt become a viable alternative to the Internal Combustion range, especially with the clean environment focus we all encounter today in business.
Locally Linde Australia once again increased its investment in the After Sales, Fleet Management and Marketing/Branding areas. 2011 saw an increase of 15% in mobile Service Technicians nationally.
Our Fleet Management reporting tool “FleetFOCUS” continued to evolve and has received market place recognition as cutting edge technology, something the MHE industry has been endeavouring to produce and provide its clients for many years. I am very proud to be able to say that Linde leads the way in this area.
Our ongoing success has also been a result of our continued investment in marketing and branding of our Product and Company. In 2011 not only did we continue with our radio advertising and industry publications, we also completely overhauled and re launched the Linde Australia website.
The new website provides both existing and potential clients with an extensive overview of our products, services and capabilities, so please take the time to visit our new site and provide any feedback you feel appropriate, we would love to receive it.
Our ongoing success has provided market share growth, which has resulted in our Victoria branch relocating to a purpose built facility in Scoresby. The new facility I believe sets the benchmark in our industry in Victoria. To both existing and potential clients, I extend an open invitation to you to visit our new operation.
As we head towards 2012, the forecasts are for another year of strong growth in the MHE industry, something I know Linde will again be able to participate in with your support.
