Welcome to the first Linde Vision publication of 2012. As with previous editions, the Linde Vision aims to provide our current and potential clients with information about what’s new at Linde and this edition is no different.
In saying that, this issue is quite different to our usual style, because our cover story traditionally features the material handling equipment solution chosen by one of our customers. In this issue our cover story is all about the evolution of Linde Material Handling. Even if you are a long term user of Linde equipment you may not be aware of the industry milestones which Linde has generated. It’s not exaggerating to say that our evolution has changed and advanced an industry. This story outlines 50 Years of Linde innovation which have also transformed our company since our first forklift back in 1959. It also details how Linde Australia has become a major force in the local market.
This edition of Linde Vision also features an article on recent independent tests conducted by TUV Nord in Germany to evaluate Linde’s warehouse trucks and their competitors. When it comes to productivity and potential cost savings, Linde warehouse equipment has also exhibited the benefits of 50 years of innovation, besting competitors in the independent TUV Nord comparison tests. In other news in this edition we cover the grand opening of our large new facility in Victoria and profile the very different operations of two Linde customer material handling equipment fleets.
